When the weather forces you to adapt
Every summer brings its share of excitement on the roads, but also its own weather-related challenges. Faced with repeated heatwaves and the risk of wildfires, many cultural events and fireworks displays are sometimes forced to be cancelled.
As a street artist and show creator, a key question arises: how can we preserve the magic of live performance and the audience’s sense of wonder whilst strictly adhering to safety guidelines and protecting the natural environment? The answer can be summed up in one word: adaptation.
A 100 per cent LED show in Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan: a resounding success!
On 13 July, we had a performance scheduled in Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan with the company KumAnati. Although the show was originally intended to feature fire displays, the weather conditions and prefectural regulations meant we had to rethink our performance.
Rather than cancelling the event and expressing disappointment, we chose to be proactive. Our team reorganised the performance to offer a modern and equally spectacular alternative: a 100 per cent LED show.

Technology in the service of emotion and the world of street performance
Whilst the general public is accustomed to the traditional thrill of a fire show, the LED version offers a different kind of poetry, one that is resolutely contemporary. Hypnotic visuals, trails of colour in the night, and precisely choreographed displays: new technologies make it possible to create new visual narratives.
In Frontenay-Rohan-Rohan, the result was immediate: children’s eyes sparkling, an enthusiastic audience and organisers relieved to have been able to hold a summer festival in complete safety.
